Citation CJ2 Partnership
Two partners share one Cessna Citation CJ2, based in Seattle, and one professional crew. Jet Set Aero handles flight operations, maintenance oversight, compliance, hangar and detailing. Adjust the hours, fuel price and financing below to see what a half share costs.
Each partner pays the buy-in once, a share of the fixed costs every month, and the hourly rate for every hour that partner flies.

A $3 million price is in line with a 2000 to 2003 CJ2: Aircraft Bluebook values run from about $3.05 million for a 2000 to $3.25 million for a 2002 (summer 2024 data), and current asking prices range from about $2.1 million to $3.8 million. Crew and fixed-cost lines draw on published estimates from Craft and Aircraft Cost Calculator; values from AvBuyer. Older aircraft may need engine overhauls, inspections or avionics upgrades that these figures do not include. The partnership must be structured and operated under FAA rules for private (Part 91) flying. Have an aviation attorney and tax advisor review the agreement before you commit.
